Dear Dick:

This is just to say I arrive in town Thursday morning and I'll give you a call as soon as I get "put" someplace and we'll get together.

Shapiro, the Tiffany films guy, came out and gave me a long talk. He is a nice fellow. Their proposition sounds very good in many ways -- and in others not so good. It is for an exclusive right to all past plays and all future ones for five years to come, guarantee to do two each year, minimum royalty guarantee on each on a flat five percent of gross royalty basis. How much down didn't say but it would have to be a lot. Tell Miss. Marbury of this. She has another idea. I would like the whole firms advice on this matter. And can't Huleman dig up some inside dope on Tiffany's financial reliability, etc. -- or Rumsey?
