Dear Bob:

This is just a line to say that I am sending off scripts of the trilogy to the Guild today. I want you to get hold of one when you can and read it and tell me what you think. I will write you some suggestions I have about advance publicity as soon as the Guild committee assures me that they are going ahead with it.

I was damned sorry to learn that you have broken a bone in your foot. You seem to have been getting some bad breaks this winter. (I didn't mean this pun!)

I will write you a long one soon about this and that and the other, but for the present I am too fagged out and dumb to inflict letters on people. This trilogy business has about washed me up. It was a hell of a job.

All kindest to you and your wife and the little Sisk.

Sincerely,

Eugene O'Neill
