The first, second, and third series of THE PROVINCETOWN
PLAYS contain the plays presented as the first, second, and third bills of the
Provincetown Players 1916-1917 season. The paper-bound pamphlets sold for fifty cents
apiece, and while they found few buyers, they brought the Provincetown Players their first
significant attention from the press. In addition to BOUND EAST FOR CARDIFF, the FIRST
SERIES also contains THE GAME, by Louise Bryant, and KING ARTHUR'S SOCKS, by Floyd Dell. |
